Freeman Regional Health Services

Updates to Freeman Regional Health Services represents one of the organization's most significant investments since the hospital opened in 1952. Located in Freeman, South Dakota, the new healthcare facility is designed to support access to quality care for residents throughout the region.

Journey Construction is serving as Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the approximately 48,945 sq. ft. hospital. The single-story facility will include inpatient rooms, emergency services, therapy space, outpatient clinical services, radiology, laboratory, pharmacy, kitchen and café facilities, and additional support services. The project also includes complete site development, including utilities, roadways, and landscaping.

When complete, the new hospital will provide a modern healthcare environment that supports patients, caregivers, and the long-term healthcare needs of the Freeman community and surrounding area.
