Tyson Harvest and Welfare Plant Expansion

This $45.4 million expansion project at Tyson Foods’ Amarillo facility focused on modernizing beef harvesting operations and investing in employee welfare. The scope included 70,000 sq. ft. of new construction to house enhanced welfare spaces designed to support worker well-being and operational efficiency.

The upgraded facility features expanded hygiene areas, dedicated break spaces, on-site medical and mental health services, and multi-faith prayer rooms. By integrating these amenities with improvements to the harvesting process, Tyson continues to advance both its production capabilities and its commitment to a safe, respectful, and supportive workplace.
