Mid-Dakota Water Treatment Plant Backwash Recovery Facility

This project added a new precast concrete backwash recovery facility designed to integrate with the existing Mid-Dakota Water Treatment Plant. The facility features advanced membrane filtration skids, chemical feed and storage systems, process piping, and all supporting electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems. It also includes sophisticated instrumentation and controls to ensure efficient and accurate system performance.

Careful coordination with equipment suppliers and thorough verification of system specifications were essential to meeting the design intent. Consistent alignment between scheduled equipment and the plant’s Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) played a key role in ensuring a smooth installation process and successful system integration. The result is a highly efficient, state-of-the-art facility that supports sustainable water recovery and long-term plant performance.
